Rustic Heritage: "Sarangi" Block Print
1. Measure Full Height and Width
Measure the entire height and width of the wall, regardless of any obstacles such as doors, windows, or staircases.
- Measuring Multiple Walls
When measuring more than one wall, measure the height of one of the walls (usually the same as the rest) and add together the individual widths to calculate the total combined width. - Measuring Sloped Walls
For walls with sloped ceilings or angled sections, measure the highest point and the widest point of the wall. Slopes should be ignored for measurement purposes to ensure full coverage.
2. Calculate Square Footage
To determine the total area in square feet, use the following formula:
(Wall Height in inches × Wall Width in inches) ÷ 144 = Square Feet
Ensure measurements are taken in inches before converting to square feet.
3. Include a Margin of Error
As the wallpaper is produced to your exact specifications, we recommend adding an additional 10% to the total square footage. This margin accounts for any adjustments required during installation.

Provenance
The Rustic Heritage: "Sarangi" Block Print printing technique that inspires this wallpaper dates back centuries, originating in the regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat, India. Known for its precision, artisans have used hand-carved wooden blocks to imprint detailed designs onto fabric and surfaces.
This craft flourished under the patronage of Indian royalty, with the patterns often reflecting flora, fauna, and traditional motifs of local culture. The rust color in the design also mirrors the earthy tones of Rajasthan's landscape, bringing an authentic Indian heritage feel to modern interiors.
